This is a solid example of the Margaret River Chardy style. It’s bright and fresh, with notes of lemon, peach, and melon tinged with salt seashells and a hint of ginger and toasty oak spice. The lemony freshness continues on the palate, cutting through the lactose texture. The oak flares up on the finish, but it’s not too intrusive.
