Ripe vine fruits, blackberry, chocolate, and vanilla on the nose, followed by juicy acidity in the mouth with ripe, supple tannins and notes of black olive, tobacco, and garrigue on the palate. The blend is 40% Aragonez, 25% Syrah, 25% Trincadeira.
What We Thought: A brambly black cherry nose leads to a smooth, full-bodied palate of ripe plum and black cherry fruit accented by notes of licorice and spice box with supple tannins and some bright, food-friendly acids.
