Spiced and earthy with ripe red and dark fruit and hints of walnuts and cocoa. Medium- to full-bodied and dry with firm tannins. Polished, velvety aftertaste. Drink or hold.
What We Thought: This serious Rosso has a nose of black cherry and spice with a robust, medium-bodied palate of more black cherry, hints of licorice, light acids, and very supple tannins, all of which demand food. We had it with our homemade spaghetti sauce, and it was perfect!
