Although this extremely concentrated dry riesling is comparatively open for a one-year-old, there’s terrific tension generated by the interplay of the wet-stone minerality and the refined, peachy fruit on the precisely delineated palate. Here's What We Thought:
Medium-golden yellow in the glass, this Riesling offers aromas of peaches, lime zest, and honeysuckle. Bright and fruit-forward acidity on the palate, with a long, salty, mineral finish, it’s elegant and so enjoyable. Perfect with fresh seafood, lightly spiced Asian dishes, or a yummy goat cheese. It's a Riesling that works beautifully at the table or for savoring on its own while watching a good murder-mystery thriller.
