The nose on this bottling is clean and fresh, with blackberry fruit, yet still quite savory, with wood and earth aromas. The palate is rich and ripe, with black cherry, cocoa, and caramel flavors that make for a very comforting and well-structured sip. — M.K.
What We Thought: The big Cabernets of Paso Robles bear no resemblance to their northern California brethren, but they sure are pleasant and easy to drink. This one is ultra-ripe, full-bodied and filled with ripe plum and blackberry fruit that is ridiculously smooth from start to finish.
