Based on Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, the 2021 Metier Red Blend is a consistently outstanding wine and has upfront blackberry-like fruits, complex notes of peppery herb, leather, and earth, medium- to full-body, ripe tannins, and outstanding length.
What We Thought: This elegant Syrah-based blend is silky smooth and full-bodied with ripe blackberry fruit along with almost dramatic notes of dark chocolate and peppery spice, all buoyed by some very supple tannins.
