This Cabernet Sauvignon features a deep crimson color with aromas of dark chocolate, plum, cranberry, and cassis. It offers flavors of blackberry, spice, and a hint of tobacco, all balanced by toasted oak for a smooth finish.
Because the vintage was much cooler, the wine has tannins and minerality. The aromas are dark plum, cranberry, dark cherry, coriander, molasses, and toasty oak on the nose; the palate has flavors of boysenberry, candied apple, star anise, tobacco, and silky tannins to finish. —T.P.
