Delightful, extra juicy red and black fruits give graciously and generously with a mouth-filling texture and soft, silky tannins. The coolness of the Sonoma Coast takes the salty sea air and places it squarely on the grapes to give this wine a lovely saline finish. The great structural envelope will protect this wine for the future. It will last and last. –J.G.

A deep red/ruby color with a light haze, the 2021 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is ripe and spicy on the nose with notes of black raspberries and some blue fruit coming through, as well as violets, pepper, and toasted cedar. Medium-bodied, it fills and expands on the palate with ripe tannins and a long, ripe finish. It has good saturation on the palate, but it doesn’t feel heavy.
