The 2020 Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills Cuvée is a terrific introduction to the range. Crushed red berry fruit, mint, spice, rose petal and a touch of whole cluster savoriness are all beautifully delineated. This is such a gorgeous and expressive Pinot. -AG
What We Thought: Bright red cherry aromas lead on the nose with just a few notes of earthiness. The palate has big, ripe cherry and pomegranate flavors, with a hint of spiciness accented by a bit of violet. These organically grown grapes produce a Pinot that is medium-bodied with smooth tannins and a long finish. Drink now. I paired it with roasted chicken and carrots, and it was delicious. -Linda
