This is sourced from the Pines Vineyard, which dates back more than a century. This is one of a tiny handful of Zinfandel vineyards anywhere in Oregon. Ripe and rich black fruits are front and center, with a streak of anise, espresso, and char. Despite the high alcohol, it steers clear of palate burn in the finish. —P.G.
