This rock-solid red is loaded with succulent boysenberry and blackberry fruit that pumps through steadily, carried by a graphite edge that lends nice form. Notes of apple wood, tobacco and savory add nuance through the finish. Best from 2025 through 2038.—J.M.
The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Turley Estate is laced with dark red fruit, dried herbs, flowers, and tobacco. The Estate is quite powerful, as the other Cabernets are, but it shows a distinctly savory/earthy profile that is rather distinctive. I very much like the energy here. —A.G.
