This is such a fun, enjoyable, and satisfying Cab Franc. Aromas of fresh strawberry, cherry, and peppery herbs show on the nose. The lightly bodied palate is bursting in crisp, lovable red raspberries and then dusted in white pepper for extra intrigue. —M.K.
What We Thought: Done in a lighter style, this wine has a clear, deep garnet color and a deceptively robust palate of ripe black cherry and blackberry fruit with notes of vanilla and peppery spice, and a smooth finish with soft tannins and light acids.
