Black cherries, cassis and dusty earth notes mark the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate is smooth, velvety and supple. It even adds hints of chocolate cake and black olives on the finish, each balancing out the other and providing additional complexity. Drink 2024-2035. —J.C.
What We Thought: A big, spicy blackberry nose leads to a robust, ultra-ripe, full-bodied palate that displays cedar and cassis, along with gobs of blackberry fruit, as well as notes of vanilla and dark chocolate, finishing with supple tannins and a big finish.
