Lush and lovely aromas of black cherry, cassis, cola and milk chocolate draw the nose into this blend from the Beaulieu Vineyard team. Blueberry and blackberry flavors are mixed with vanilla, caramel and chai on the somewhat formulaic yet still satisfying palate. — M.K.
What We Thought: The palate of smooth blackberry fruit is accented by notes of mocha, dark chocolate, and vanilla and supported by well-integrated tannins. This deserves a steak or lamb chops.
