What We Thought: A nose of honeysuckle and a touch of lemon combine with a bright but almost creamy palate of crisp stone fruit, peach, and nectarine, all with a pleasant underlying minerality and a cleansing burst of acidity at the finish.
About the Winery: In the Egrots - a small hamlet of Sury en Vaux, about 4 kilometers from Sancerre - Michel and Laurent Thomas farm 17 hectares. In 1970, they took over the family estate, which was founded by Michel’s father in 1946.
