Aromas of wild berries, smoke, and earth. This rich, unctuous, full-textured wine is a fine example of this appellation. The moderately dry tannins are silky and well-integrated. The long finish is livelier than first imagined.
Mixing 80% Grenache with 20% Syrah, the 2023 Vacqueyras Les Aubes is shaping up to be a rock-solid follow-up to the stylish 2022.
