Bruised red cherry and fresh black cherry sit next to each other on the nose, with the latter showing its dominance on the palate. Youthful tannins dominate the majority of the taste. This wine has longevity and aging potential and can be enjoyed now with decanting and through to 2033. —R.S.
What We Thought: A delicate black cherry nose leads to a smooth, medium-bodied palate of more earthy, black cherry fruit with notes of baking spice and black pepper that finishes with the softest of tannins.
