A structured Chianti Classico with black berries, black cherries, and hints of cedar. Full-bodied, chewy and flavorful. Needs a year or two to soften. Best after 2023.
What We Thought: This begins with aromas of tart black cherry that lead to a very dry, medium-bodied, Ripe black cherry palate accented by notes of black pepper, leather, and licorice, supported by some subdued but supple tannins.
