What We Thought: Cedary cigar box and dark fruit frame the nose of this smoothly textured, complex wine. The palate is medium- to full-bodied and filled with ripe blackberry fruit along with notes of clove, espresso, dark chocolate, and cinnamon spice, all supported by well-integrated but evident tannins that promise productive time in the cellar.
