Precise and polished, with slightly brooding black cherry and green tea flavors that fan out and build structure toward fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2025. 15,200 cases made. — TF
What We Thought: Aromas of black cherry and black pepper frame the nose of this very Burgundian Pinot Noir. The lightly viscous, delicate palate is medium-bodied with plenty of black cherry fruit along with notes of vanilla and a little brambly spice, finishing with very soft tannins.
The famous French Burgundian negotiant family of Joseph Drouhin brought their knowledge of Pinot Noir to Oregon thirty years ago and helped establish the style that Oregon winemakers aspire to. This is great juice!
Generous yet refined and focused, with expressive raspberry, grilled orange and spice flavors that linger on the long, focused finish. Drink now through 2027. 13,300 cases made. — TF
